Reiki Levels I & II Trainings in Greenwood

Nurse Navigators 4 Integrative Healing is offering certification trainings for Reiki Levels I & II. This course is available to anyone interested in learning a way to promote relaxation, pain relief, comfort, and healing for themselves or their patient/family/clients.
Reiki is a form of Japanese energy healing. Reiki is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through all things and is what causes us to be alive. It is administered by using the hands of the practitioner to bring healing energy to affected areas. Health is dependent on “life force energy” being balanced and flowing. If it is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Recent Research: Marcus, D, Blazek-O’Neill, B, and Kopar, J.Symptomatic Improvement Reported After Receiving Reiki at a Cancer Infusion Center. American Journal of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (2013) , 30(2), 216-217. In a Cancer Infusion Center the use of Reiki was shown to increase relaxation, reduced stress, improve mood, reduce anxiety, and improve attitude.
